Plus, each room is equipped with a private bathroom, so you don't have to share with anyone.
Personally, I'm not a fan of the heating system in the rooms. But hey, some people might actually enjoy it, so it's just my own preference.

The rooms at Hotel Rural Zalama are absolutely charming with their rustic wooden floors and beams. It makes you feel like you're staying in a cozy countryside cottage. The spacious suite I stayed in had a comfortable king-size bed and a nice seating area. I loved how each room is heated, keeping me warm during my stay.
Personally, I found the bathrooms a bit basic. But hey, it's just my opinion and I'm sure others might still find them perfectly fine.

Our stay at Casa Zalama was worth every penny! The room was fantastic, with a cozy fireplace in the living room for those special moments. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature in the Las Merindades area. The staff, MariCruz and Graeme, were extremely welcoming and gave us great tips to explore the area.
Breakfast delights with a wider variety of options would have made our mornings even better.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, and the hotel facilities were excellent. I particularly loved spending time in Graham's surrealist garden, it was like being in a dreamy corner of Northern Spain. The location in this lovely area, surrounded by mountains, was perfect for relaxation. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, catering to all of my needs.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.
